County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ seeks an adjunct professor for its Elementary Latin I course, which runs on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-9:15pm beginning on Tuesday, 9/2/14 and ending on Tuesday, 12/9/14. Candidates should have at least a Master’s degree, preferably in the Classics or related field, and teaching experience is ideal. The course materials and syllabus are provided, but the adjunct professor will be expected to design and execute his/her own lesson plans, tests, and exams. Adjunct professors are also expected to attend the College’s opening orientation meeting at the end of August in addition to department meetings as necessary. Travel Subsidy:
CAAS is offering subsidies of up to $800 for travel to the 2014 Annual meeting in Washington, DC. Only CAAS members are eligible for these subsidies, which are need-based, and priority for funding will be given to presenters of papers, panel participants, and presiders.

Notification of subsidies will be sent to applicants by September 16, and they will receive their checks when they pick up their registration materials at the meeting.
