Workshops & DiscussionsWorkshop 2: Queering the Past(s)King Sejong Room

A workshop on teaching queer classics in a middle-high school setting. Our presenters will be both students and faculty. This project was partially funded by CAAS. Our faculty and student members (3) will each give short presentations. Then we will open the floor for discussion, first asking what others are doing, then soliciting discussion of how we can improve both our resources and LGBTQ+ classics education in general in the schools, especially given the increasingly homophobic and transphobic atmosphere we inhabit.
